Getting Around

 

If you’re on your way through Linz you can easily use public transportation. With it’s fully developed transport system you can reach every spot within Linz very quickly. Tickets can be bought at a ticket machine at the station or at the service centers of Linz AG (the civic transportation company) or local tabacconists (“Trafik”).

MINI – As a Short-Distance Ticket, the MINI Ticket covers a maximum of four follow-up stations. € 1,00 at ticket machines or 6 trips for € 5,50.

Taxis

You can call a taxis or find one at local taxi stands. The most important taxistands are at “Hauptplatz” (main square) and Linz Central Station. The basic fee on workdays between 5-9 p.m. is around 5 €. At night and on sundays and holidays it’s a little higher.
